Check this interesting installation pictures of a one piece Stop Log panel. The “fire hose” will be utilized to fill gaps after it is let down in the slot. By putting 15 psi of pressure in the hose it will “push” the panel to the right location, “seat” the gate and allow wedges to be placed by divers. Red lava rock is used as a natural “leak finder”. This panel has splines between each piece so it isn’t leaking much at all. This panel will be used multiple times to close various channels while shut down work is carried out.
