This customer had the flexibility to use 2 bridges 20′ long with a center support. The channel in this case is a winter flow only, there is no cause for concern on the center support scouring out with the flow. We supplied the bridges in 2 pieces (each) and installation was quick once the abutments and center supports were in place. The customer will be installing long “side-bars” to join the bridges as well. This was an innovative  economical use of resources!
