Contoured Dunnage – large pipes going every which way but loose
Here is an order of Contoured Dunnage, AKA Pipe Saddles. All dunnage in this case is 102″ long to fit a flat deck truck. This dunnage is for pipe that is 30″, 36″ and 42″ outside diameter. They will load the bottom layer using 6″ x 6″ with a single cutout on 1 side and then on the second layer they will use 6″ x 8″ x 102″ contoured on both sides. The load will knit together well and be safe on the road. Using 6″ x 8″ means there is a solid 4″ between layers, easy for the unloading (large forks on forklift ) and extra strong by being 4″ of solid timber. Extra points if you recognize the movie with Clint Eastwood “Every which way but loose”! (1979!)
